No Exam For Primary Pupils This Term – NaCCA

Implementation of the new curriculum began this year (2019/2020) and has brought several changes in the Basic Education system, specifically at the primary level.

In a video received by Mickinet Systems Online Media Platform, the Executive Secretary of National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), Dr. Prince Hamid Armah emphasized that there would be no end of term examination for primary pupils. However, JHS and SHS students will have their normal examinations.

“There would be no end of term exam for standard based pupils”, Dr. Armah emphasized. He further explained that there would be an item bank to be used to assess learners for each term.
