Taking screenshot of your screen is very useful in our daily computing lives as well as in gaming.

In this article, I will show you different methods of taking a screenshot in Windows 10.

Method One : Taking quick screenshots

To take quick shots, press the windows + print screen (PrtSc) keys. The file is automatically saved in your Pictures/Screenshots folder.

Method Two : Using the Snipping Tool

The snipping tool has been part of Windows since the Windows Vista era.
To open the snipping tool, type snipping tool in the search box on your taskbar and press Enter key.
You begin by pressing New then you use the pointer to draw the area of the screen you want to capture. Then you manually save the image by clicking on File menu and select Save As.

Method Three : Using the Game bar

Windows 10 bundles a game DVR capabilities to record your gaming screen, take screenshots and saves them in C:Users{Your username}VideosCaptures. To open the Game bar tool, press windows + G key combination.

Method 4 : Using the new Snip and Sketch tool

The Snip and Sketch tool has been made available in the new Windows update. To create a shot, launch the tool (windows + Shift S) , click New on the top bar and you will be allowed to select the clip modes, whether rectangular, free form or full screen clips. Just like the Snipping Tool, the rectangular clip allows you to draw the area of the screen you want to capture and the full screen clip quickly takes a full screen shot.
