Public school teachers are in a state of oblivion after some districts in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions have allegedly rescheduled the duration for the Workshop on the New Curriculum to a week.

Information from some  districts in the Ashanti Region has indicated that the Ghana Education Service has directed them to reschedule and compress the entire training into one week

As a result, teachers from the Kindergarten to Basic Six,including headteachers are required to take part in the workshop which has been rescheduled for August 13 to 17, 2019.

Teachers from such districts have disseminated the information to other teachers whose districts have not rescheduled their meeting days.

The workshop was earlier expected to begin August 13 to August 30.

The Ghana Education Service is yet to officially come out to debunk or confirm the alleged reschedule of the training.
