We have not approved any textbook for the new curriculum – NaCCA

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has indicated that it has not yet approved any textbook for the new curriculum.

In a press release dated October 31, 2019 NaCCA emphasized that publishers are selling textbooks and curriculum materials purported to be from its outfit and advised the general public not to patronize unapproved materials.

We wish to inform all heads of schools, parents and the general public that
NaCCA has not yet approved any textbook for the new curriculum. The
approval processes are still ongoing, in accordance with previous curriculum
reforms.
Publishers and Writers are hereby reminded that all textbooks and other
supplementary materials must be assessed and approved by NaCCA before
they are sold to schools and the general public, as per the Education Act, 2008
(Act 778).
