MTN users can now browse on the Opera Mini and Opera News channels for free but it comes with a catch. It comes with a daily cap of 15mb. Users who exceed their daily cap of 15mb will continue to browse from their remaining data balance. Also, the free daily data can be used for browsing only. Normal data costs will apply when you stream videos and download files.
How to use the free browsing on Opera Mini
To browse for free on MTN, users will only need to update or download Opera Mini and Opera News apps from the Play Store.
Things to note
- There is a daily limit of 15mb
- Upgrade / update your Opera Mini and Opera News browsers or download apps from the Play Store.
- The free daily data covers browsing only while video streaming and file download will attract normal data charges.
