GES Staff: How to check your Tier 2 Pension Statement

The Ghana Education Service Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) has provided the opportunity for GES staff to check your Tier 2 pension lump sum online. If you are a staff of GES, you can check your Tier 2 lump sum right on your mobile phone using a shortcode or a browser.

Method 1: How to check your Tier 2 Lump Sum using ShortCode

1. First dial *365*65# in your mobile phone. Make sure you use a mobile number found in the GESOPS database.

2. Now enter your Staff ID and tap Send.

3. If it is your first time of using the service, you will be required to register for the service.

4. Now type 1 in the text field to register for the GESOPS online service account.

5. Next up, you will be asked to enter your Staff ID to register. Enter your Staff ID and follow the steps to register an account. If you are using a number not on GESOPS database, you will not be able to complete the registration. You will have to contact GESOPS at 0501516974 for your number to be updated.

6. Once the registration is complete, redial the short code, enter your Staff ID and follow the on-screen options to check your Tier 2 pension lump sum.

Method 2: Steps to check your Tier 2 Lump Sum Online

You can also check your statement online using a web browser.

1. Go to the GES Pensions Login page. by clicking on the link.

2. Again, if you are a new user, you have to create an account to proceed. Enter your Staff ID and SSNIT number and click Submit.

3. Your information will be displayed on the next screen. Confirm your details and click Next.

4. On the next screen, you will be required to enter your email address and create a password for your account. Click the checkbox to agree to the terms and click Register.

5. You will be taken back to the login page after successful registration. So enter your Staff ID and SSNIT umber to log in.

6. Once you log in, your dashboard will appear and you can click check statement. You will have to choose a start date and an end date for the statement. Once you specify the date for the statement, enter your password to view statement.
