The Ghana Education Service (GES) has indicated that the pre-tertiary school academic calendar has not changed. The statement was made on their official Facebook page as a reaction to several rumors of a revised academic calendar.
“Please note that the 2023 Academic Calendar hasn’t been changed. Please ignore any information that is contrary to this.“
As a result, the existing calendar should be used by teachers. The post confirmed that the 2023 BECE would be from the 7th to 11th of August 2023.
“The only clarification is the BECE date which has finally been settled on the 7th to 11th of August 2023.”
