How to get your SSNIT statement

Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has made it easy to access your quarterly statement on the go. In this article, I will outline the simple steps to receive your SSNIT statement.

Details needed to receive SSNIT statement

  1. Full name
  2. SSNIT number
  3. Correct and Active Email address
  4.  Mobile phone number

Steps

  1. Send the above details to SSNIT via email. The email address is contactcentre@ssnit.org.gh
  2. Now wait for your statement to be sent to your email.

How to open the document

For additional security, your contribution statement is password protected. Your default password consists of the first four letters of your first name in capital letters followed by your date of birth (as registered with the Trust) in the format YYYYMMDD.

Take note that if your name consists of less than four letters, your password would be all the letters of your name and your date of birth.

To view your statement, simply enter your password in accordance with the provided format. For example:

If your name and date of birth (as registered with the Trust) is Michael Osei-Owusu and 22nd May 1985 respectively, then your password would be MICH19850522. The First name should always be in block letters.

If your name is Helena Akua and date of birth (as registered with the Trust) is 11th January 1972, then your password would be HELE19720111.
